Fort Lupton Historic Designation Happy Hour

The Fort Lupton Historic Preservation Board would like to extend an invitation to you to attend a happy hour to discuss historic designation within the community. As an owner of a historically significant property within Fort Lupton, this happy hour is an opportunity for you to hear about the benefits of historic designation. A representative from the State’s historical society, History Colorado, will be in attendance to answer questions. This happy hour is meant to be an informal opportunity for you to meet with City and State representatives, and owners who have already historically designated their property. This is meant to be an informational gathering and designation of your property is not expected.

Owners of property that have already been historically designated are also encouraged to attend to provide insight to attendees regarding the designation process. Complimentary appetizers will be provided by the Historic Preservation Board.

We are proud to host this event at the City's only nationally designated landmark, the Ottesen Mill Co. (now known as Mulligen Joe's). A Mulligan Joe's representative will be in attendance to discuss their experiences with historic designation and running a business in a historically designated building.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No! Please do not worry about bringing a ticket with you to the event. We will have a list of registered attendees at the event, so please just make sure to check-in at Mulligan Joe's when you arrive.
